I am 42 and experiencing "empty nest syndrome".My daughter, Alicia, helps me with our Chichi's when she is around.
My husband is also a big help. I guess you could say this is a "family" thing.
We are not a kennel. Recently, while trying to purchase a female puppy for breeding,
I was told I sound like a kennel (ha-ha). Since when does wanting a quality puppy make you a kennel? I think everyone
should be offered quality. Our Chichi's are our babies.
My goal is quality, not quantity. I really like the unique colored Chichi's like merle, brindle and blue. I also
prefer long coated.

Nutrition is key...
Breeding large breed dogs it was a job finding a food to keep up with
large growing bones.
After doing extensive research I have chose Eagle Pack for my Chihuahuas.
I am using the Holistic Select Chicken Formula. This was recommended to me for puppies
and pregnant, lactating dams.

Past Breeding Experience
I started out breeding AKC Boxers in 1996. I bred Boxers for about 3 years. Then I decided to breed AKC Chocolate
Labrador Retrievers. In 2002 I injured my shoulder. Yes, I had surgery. I didn't heal the way we had hoped.
So, the big dogs are out of the question for breeding.
So, this is a new venture for us. Right now I own seven Chihuahua's; Bruiser (pet), his son Button (pet), Bebe,
Mora, Lena, Maya and Bella. They live in
our home and are our babies.
